She is best friends with her sister Jane. Fitzwilliam Darcy – 30. A loving, generous, and smart (if slightly stiff) husband. He is quiet and vigilant and thus sees what others often miss. He knows what being lovelorn is like. Jane Bingley – 24, married to Mr. Bingley. She is seven months pregnant with her first child and is sweet and optimistic as ever. The kindest heart in the house. Only daughter of the late Lady Catherine de Bourgh. Lived in her mother’s very large shadow, never having to ask for anything or speak for herself her entire life. Judgmental and impatient, just like her mother. “Hedwig And the Angry Inch” Hedwig – Tenor. 20s-30s. Hedwig is a genderqueer rock star and a transcendent talent. Perpetually abandoned, perpetually resilient.  Yitzhak – Mezzo Soprano. 20s-30s. A Jewish drag queen from Zagreb, and Hedwig’s backup singer. She is seemingly nice but people do not know much about her. Ama – Ghanaian, 18 years old; the sensible, smart one of Paulina's pack. Is not afraid to say it like she means it. Nana – Ghanaian, 16 years old; the simple pseudo dumb one of Paulina's pack. She struggles with her love of food and snacks. Very sensitive. My Lord, What a Night explores the racial, religious and gender-based struggles plaguing two of the most iconic entities of the 20th century. Albert Einstein: Jewish, Age 58, German-born theoretical physicist who developed the general theory of relativity. He fled Nazi Germany and settled in Princeton, New Jersey where he was offered a position with the Institute of Advanced Study at Princeton University. He barks like a seal when he laughs. Marian Anderson: African American, Age 41, one of the most celebrated singers of the 20th century. She performed on concert stages around the world, but suffered discrimination at home in the United States. Singing Required. Vocal type: Contralto. Voice needs to fill the room. Prepare 8-16 bars of 'My Country Tis of Thee' or 'My Lord What A Morning' acapella.
