Seeking:Cats DESCRIPTION: Based on T. S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, the show is set amongst a larger- than-life junkyard playground and is alive with our favourite feline characters including Rum Tum Tugger, Mr. Mistoffelees, Macavity, Jennyanydots, Old Deuteronomy, Grizabella and Skimbleshanks. The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year – the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life. The magnificent musical score composed by the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber, includes the poignant hit song ‘Memory’, which has been recorded by over 150 artists from Barbra Streisand and Johnny Mathis to Liberace and Barry Manilow. CATS is quite simply a phenomenon. Featuring a fantastical oversized set, a superb score, inspired choreography and mischievous costumes, CATS is a brilliant song and dance spectacular not to be missed.

Seeking:Equity ADULT Dancers (18+) for the ensemble. See breakdown. Based on the motion picture TREVOR All SM positions have been filled. BREAKDOWN Trevor: The Musical is about a charming 13-year-old force of nature with a vivid imagination. As he deals with becoming a teenager, Trevor struggles to navigate his own identity and determine how he fits in a challenging world. The Trevor Project, which was created as a result of the Trevor film, is the nation’s only accredited crisis intervention and suicide prevention organization focused on saving LGBTQ lives. www.TheTrevorProject.org SEEKING ALL ETHNICITIES: TREVOR 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; Our young hero, TREVOR is an unabashed enthusiast of music, theater, dance and last, but certainly not least: Diana Ross. Despite the feminine labels that his peers eventually (and mockingly) assign to him, TREVOR’s actions/mannerisms are less “girly” than they are distinct, unique and unable to be to be categorized into what his classmates consider to be normal. Bright and imaginative; naive and impressionable; TREVOR oozes heart and soul... Dance/movement skills a plus. Mezzo-Soprano: G below middle C to second E above middle C; PRINCIPAL WALTER 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; Trevor’s neighbor and longtime childhood friend. WALTER wears big, chunky glasses and his wardrobe is (obviously) comprised of ill-fitting (sometimes too tight, sometimes too loose) hand-me-downs. WALTER would be equally at home as part of a science fair or a spirited game of Dungeons & Dragons. Dance/movement skills a plus. Tenor: C below middle C to A above middle C; PRINCIPAL PINKY FARADAY 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; One of the coolest guys at Trevor’s Junior High – tall, athletic, handsome (the jock heartthrob of the 8th grade). In spite of this, PINKY still has an air of innocent obliviousness about him. He is authentic and empathetic, though not to the detriment of his hard-earned reputation. Dance/movement skills a plus. Tenor: Bb below middle C to A above middle C; PRINCIPAL CATHY 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; Trevor’s friend at school. Awkward with braces and a mane of out-of-control hair, CATHY is in that painful stage in which she is just beginning to care about her perception and appearance but, still void of social savvy, subtlety and fashion sense, this only makes matters worse. Dance/movement skills a plus. Mezzo Belter: G below middle C to second E above middle C; PRINCIPAL FRANNIE 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; Pretty and popular, FRANNIE is the (reciprocal) object of Pinky’s affection. Like Pinky, we recognize her natural desire to be compassionate and kind to those around her, albeit typically trumped by maintaining her social standing. Dance/movement skills a plus. Mezzo: G below middle C to second Ab above middle C; PRINCIPAL MARY 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; Frannie’s BFF; she is razor sharp, straightforward and does not suffer fools. A firm believer in the social hierarchy of Lakeview (she lands on top), she is always on the lookout for those who belong and those who don’t. Dance/movement skills a plus. Alto: F below middle C to second E above middle C; PRINCIPAL JASON 12-16 yrs. old TO PLAY MIDDLE SCHOOL AGE; The “meanest” of the jocks; JASON is quick (and seemingly delighted) to draw attention to the shortcomings of anyone around him. A poster-child of overcompensation to distract from his own insecurities. 14 years old. Dance/movement skills a plus. Bari-Tenor: Second A below middle C to Ab above middle C; PRINCIPAL DIANA ROSS DIANA is ethereal, beautiful and strong. African-American. She is TREVOR’s personal vision of the pop diva as well as a manifestation of TREVOR’s inner-self and spirit; DIANA can appear and evaporate in an instant. A vocal quality that defies categorization. Sustained belt C above middle C. Occasional belt to Eb above that. Sings down to F below middle C. PRINCIPA

He has a plan to pull to become Vice Chancellor of Verona under Paris and will stop at nothing to see that plan through. Perhaps his devotion to Paris comes with a little more passion than one would expect. [MERCUTIO/ENSEMBLE]– Male, 18-25. Soulful gospel tenor up to a Bb. One of the Montague’s best fighters. He is funny, playful, but hot headed. Quick to make a joke but also quick to jump into a fight. He is a Capulet who really hates the Montagues and who is constantly looking for ways to stick it to them. Should be comfortable with stylized movement. [GREGORY/ENSEMBLE] – Male; early 20s. Strong rock/pop vocal. He is Sampson’s sidekick, also a bit of a troublemaker. Should be comfortable with stylized movement. [ENSEMBLE] – All gender identities. All ethnicities. 20’s-30’s. Diverse. Will play Montagues and Capulets. All need to be strong pop singers, dancers, and interesting types.
