Seeking:Grizabella: Female, 35-55, a survivor, but she is vulnerable, and now outcast from the tribe. She was once very glamorous, but with age her beauty is fading. Sings 'Memory'. An exceptional singer/ actress with sensational, powerful vocals needed. Must possess a wide vocal range with rich lower register and dramatic high belt to E flat. Old Deuteronomy: Male, 35-55, the beloved leader of the Tribe. Seeking a mature actor with rich legit baritone to G sharp in addition to a secure lower register. Must be able to express authority, dignity, wisdom, and humility - also great warmth and fun. Small amount of movement required. Gus/Bustopher Jones: Male, 40-50, Bustopher Jones is a sophisticated and upper-class cat, respected by all. Gus is the theatre cat - a fragile old cat who in his dreams becomes a swashbuckling pirate, who fights to his death. A fantastic character actor/ singer with excellent comedic skills to play these two distinct roles. High baritone/tenor to an A flat and additionally a secure lower register. Good movement skills needed. Ensemble Singers: Males & Females, 18+, strong singers who dancer very well; all vocal types. May understudy principal roles and featured ensemble roles. Ensemble Dancers: Males & Females, 18+, very strong dancers with an athletic build. Must excel in all styles of dance and be able to sing well. Strong tumbling skills a plus. May understudy principal roles and featured ensemble roles. Munkustrap: Male, 25-35, the son of Old Deuteronomy, who takes the lead in his absence. Sings "Old Deuteronomy" and "The Pekes and the Pollicles." For this role we require an excellent baritone singer with a commanding presence. Very good movement skills required. 6' tall. Rum Tum Tugger: Male, 18-35, a charismatic and anarchic character. He is notoriously hard to please and sets himself apart from others by trying to be different. He always does the opposite of what is expected of him. Rum Tum Tugger is deviously self-centered and relishes in being so. Must have strong dance. Funk and street styles a plus. Mr. Mistoffelees: Male, 20-32, the magician--impish with an expansive personality. Must be a phenomenal and exciting principal dancer with outstanding classical technique as well as contemporary and hip hop familiarity. Gymnastic skills and tricks a plus. Good high baritone vocals. Ideally under 5'8".

Seeking:Vivian Ward: Female, 20-39, a quirky, sexy girl who reluctantly works on Hollywood Boulevard as a prostitute but harbors Cinderella dreams of a better life. A star-crossed meeting with a lost billionaire propels her into a fish-out-of-water adventure among the rich and powerful of Beverly Hills. A Rodeo Drive shopping transformation takes her from Malibu parties to opera galas, where she learns that confidence, and staying true to oneself, is even more important that material wealth. In the process, she discovers her self-worth and becomes determined not to settle for anything less than taking full control of her own destiny. Needs strong comedic chops and movement ability. Excellent pop/rock singer. Must be versatile in style and have strong belt and mix. Principal. Edward Lewis: Male, 37-49, a smart, successful, well-educated business mogul who takes over troubled companies and liquidates their assets. His tough, workaholic exterior conceals a sensitive, artistic side, including a love of music and the arts. He’s in the process of orchestrating the biggest financial deal of his career, but the recent death of his father has him questioning his priorities. He hires Vivian hoping for some temporary, hassle-free companionship, but she completely upends his life. He realizes he will have to change if he wants to hold onto the things that matter most to him. Excellent pop/rock singer. Tenor. Needs to confidently be able to sing an A. Principal. Happy Man/Barnard Thomspon : Male, 30-59, the magical Hollywood Boulevard fairy godfather to Vivian’s street Cinderella, he begins the story as a fast-talking peddler of Maps to the Stars who urges Vivian to hold onto her dreams. Later he transforms into Mr. Thompson, the efficient, dapper manager of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. He teaches Vivian ballroom dancing, how to dress like a lady, and, most importantly, to believe in herself. Excellent pop/rock singer. Tenor. Must be vocally diverse and able to switch between styles. Strong movement ability. Principal. Offer is out.  Kit Deluca: Female, 20-49, a professional prostitute and party girl who took Vivian under her wing to teach her how to survive on the streets. Tough but funny, she comes to realize she has a lot to learn from Vivian about not giving up and settling for less. Inspired by Vivian’s example, begins a search for a better life. Excellent pop/rock singer. Powerhouse high belter. Principal. Offer is out.  Phillip Stuckey: Male, 30-49, a ruthless and energetic lawyer who has partnered with Edward Lewis on many successful hostile corporate takeovers. He loves money and is willing to cross almost any legal or ethical boundary in the pursuit of it. When Edward’s growing relationship with Vivian begins to threaten his business interests, he becomes a dangerous adversary. Strong tenor. Should be comfortable singing pop music. Principal. Offer is out.  James Morse: Male, 50-79, a cagey, self-made industrial tycoon who owns a large ship-building company. The loss of Naval contracts has endangered his business, and made it vulnerable to a takeover by Edward Lewis and Philip Stuckey. But he is determined to fight back to keep his employees working. Should be able to carry a tune; doesn’t require a strong singer. Baritone. Should have ballroom dancing ability. Principal.
